The MPDL has signed an agreement with the Leibniz Information Centre for Science and Technology University Library (TIB Hannover), enabling us to assign DataCite DOIs to research data and grey literature on behalf of Max Planck researchers. The DOI registration process is already integrated into:
- MPG.PuRe – the publication repository of the Max Planck Society
- Edmond – the Open Research Data Repository of the Max Planck Society, and
- Keeper – MPDL’s self-archiving service
If DOI assignment via one of these platforms is not an option, please feel free to fill out this webform to request a DOI for a scholarly work stored in an MPG repository or contact us for further questions.
We are also happy to assist you with questions about Persistent Identifiers (PIDs) besides DOIs.
